Abstract
A checklist of the damage caused by vertebrate species to agriculture in Israel is presented. Sixty-one species are reported to be of econom ic significance, 27 of which are mammalian, 32 avian and two reptilian . The damage was not only to plants and crops, but also to agricultura l equipment, such as irrigation pipes.
