The liquid-vapour equilibrium states for NH3, CO2 and H2O in the range
of technological parameters of ammonia absorption and carbonation pro
cesses in the Solvay's method were determined. The region of the occur
rence of metastable state of the NH3-CO2--H2O-NaCl system was determin
ed and dynamics of changes of liquid and gas phases composition and eq
uilibrium pressure changes during disappearance of carbamate and bicar
bonate supersaturation was described.
