Effects of temperature and pressure changes during pulsation cycle on
line profiles in beta Cephei stars are investigated. We find significa
nt changes in residual intensities, FWHM and equivalent widths for rad
ial pulsations when both these effects are included in model calculati
ons. Radial velocity curves are also discussed. The presented approach
may be useful for simultaneous analysis of continuum and line profile
s variations in pulsating stars.
