Abstract
Stipitate forms of Peziza bovina, P. vesiculosa, P. echinospora, and P . perdicina are described. Ascomata with the habit of P. asterigma sho uld be regarded as sterigmated forms. Those forms are the result of sp ecial microclimatic conditions. They are modifications of distinct spe cies which do not need a taxonomical rank of their own.
