The magneto-photo-luminescence in Cd1-xMnxTe (x = 0.13-0.4) was invest
igated in magnetic fields up to 43T by a pulsed magnet at T = 4.2 K. S
ignificant behaviour of exciton peak intensity, half-line width and sp
ectral line shape of the exciton emission band was observed and interp
reted in terms of free magnetic polaron effect depending on the magnet
ic field and manganese concentration.
