Abstract
Microchannel plates (MCPs) with a higher conductivity than standard (b y more than two orders of magnitude) are described. Stability of the p arameters of these plates is achieved with respect to the applied volt age. The voltage dependence of the gain of the high-conductivity MCPs is given.
