Abstract
The polarization fraction of Al K(alpha), satellite lines of Al metal and Al oxide (alpha-Al2O3, SaPPhire) has been measured at 3.2 MeV Heion bombardment. The observed polarization fraction of aluminium oxide is approximately 50% lower than that of aluminium metal.
