Abstract
L shell X-ray production cross sections were measured in W and Pb targ ets for incident proton energies of 1-3 MeV. Using the computer code A XIL ten L X-ray peaks were separated in both cases. The individual pro duction cross section values obtained are presented in tables. Values of the I(Lbeta)/I(Lalpha) and I(Lgamma)/I(Lalpha) intensity ratios nee ded for quantitative concentration evaluations in trace element analys is are also given as a function of the incident proton energy. The exp erimental data are compared to theoretical ones obtained by ECPSSR cal culations.
