Gh. Zhu et al., CHARACTERIZATION OF SIZE DISTRIBUTIONS OF ELEMENTAL MASS CONCENTRATIONS IN ATMOSPHERIC AEROSOLS DERIVED FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES, Nuclear instruments & methods in physics research. Section B, Beam interactions with materials and atoms, 75(1-4), 1993, pp. 245-248
The atmospheric aerosol samples were collected at six representative s
ites with an 8-stage cascade impactor sampler and analyzed for their e
lemental mass concentrations by the PIXE analytic method. Based on som
e indicator elements, the characteristic of size distributions of part
icles from different sources were obtained. According to these charact
eristics, we inferred the origins of the ultrafine particles around th
e Great Wall Station in the Antarctic.
