Abstract
Gastric bypass with jejunal interposition is a version of the distal R oux-en-Y. Ninety cm of the jejunum is interposed between the gastric s toma and the ileum. This new procedure initially was used in super-obe se patients mainly to facilitate the gastric anastomosis.
