Abstract
A special corrugated microstructure of Fe/Cr(110) superlattices is dis covered, which develops spontaneously when grown on Ge (110) substrate s. This microstructure was studied using low energy electron diffracti on and transmission electron microscopy. Also magnetic and transport p roperties of these superlattices were measured. We conclude that the m icrostructure induces a magnetic anisotropy, which has a strong influe nce on the magnetoresistance curves.
