Abstract
The cycloadditions of p-benzoquinone and 4-phenyl-1,2,4-triazoline-3,5 -dione to 1,3-diphenyl-isobenzofuran were described. The adducts, as w ell as some related compounds, were characterized by NMR methods. An e quilibrium reaction between the diadduct, p-benzoquinone and 1,3-diphe nyl-isobenzofuran was observed in polar solvents.
