Abstract
In buffer solution at pH>5, glutathione (Glu) induces two nickel prewa ves. The limiting currents deppend on both nickel ion and Glu concentr ation, For the first prewave, two steps on the limiting current-pH cur ve are observed. The second wave is well developped at pH>6. Taking in to account the analogous behaviour of other thiolic compounds, it is i nferred that the reducible complexes involve sulphur coordination.
