We present long-slit CCD spectroscopy of 32 emission-line galaxies dis
covered by the Hamburg Quasar Survey. Classification of these galaxies
using emission-line intensity ratios shows them to be excited by phot
oionization of hot stars with one exception showing Seyfert characteri
stics. Photographic reproductions of direct Schmidt plates are present
ed as finding charts and for morphological studies. In approximately 2
5% of the objects there is evidence for interaction with neighbouring
galaxies.
