Abstract
Novel efficient oxygenation route of cyclohexene into 2-cyclohexen-1-o ne (PHI =0.14) upon visible light irradiation to tetraphenylporphyrina toantimony(V) through reductive quenching of the excited triplet porph yrins by triphenylphosphine in aqueous acetonitrile has been found.
