Abstract
A lot has been learned about insecticide resistance in the post 40 yea rs. The problem is more extensive and widespread than could have been predicted. In this review Richard Roush discusses the genetics and man agement of resistance to insecticides (especially as related to arthro pod vectors of human and animal diseases), with the objective of sugge sting future directions.
