Abstract
Postoperative alopecia is an uncommon complication of surgery and is r eported mainly in adults who undergo prolonged anesthesia. The disorde r occurred in three infants after cardiac surgery. It is easily preven ted by frequently changing the position of the head during surgery and the recovery period.
