Abstract
Thermal compaction of powdered materials based on alpha-AlO1.5 modifie d with titanium dioxide incorporated in the system by different method s was comparatively investigated. Heat treatment was conducted in isot hermal and nonisothermal conditions. The effect of the degree of spati al conjugation of the components and conditions of heat treatment on t he rate of compaction of the material was demonstrated.
