Abstract
The results of numerical modeling of experimental data from a study of the position of the self-ignition limits in hydrogen-fluorine mixture s inhibited by oxygen showed that a significant increase in the contri bution of the branched chain process in autoacceleration of the reacti on in comparison to thermal acceleration can be obtained with certain concentrations of fluorine and hydrogen. The chain branching reaction can be used for initiation of fast reactions in the active medium of H F lasers.
