Abstract
Reaction of octaethylporphyriniron(III) perchlorate, Fe(oep)ClO4, or a n iron capped porphyrin perchlorate, Fe(C2cap)ClO4, with a copper(II) imidazolate complex, CuIm, gives the imidazolate bridged dinuclear mon oadducts, [Fe(oep)CuIm]ClO4 or [Fe(C2CaP)CuIM]ClO4, Which are characte rized by variable temperature magnetic susceptibility as spin coupled intermediate spin and admixed intermediate spin systems, respectively.
