For studies of objects in the general class of substituted stannyloxyp
henoxyl radicals, an ESR method in the 2-mm wavelength band has been u
sed. With this approach, it has been possible to resolve completely fo
r these compounds the anisotropy of the g-tensor and to obtain structu
ral information on such objects at ''low'' temperatures (approximately
145 K), at which registration of isotropic liquid-phase spectra has a
lready become impossible. Analysis of the magnetic resonance parameter
s obtained in these studies has made it possible to estimate contribut
ions to the g-tensor from different atoms in molecules of this type. I
t has been shown that ESR in the 2-mm band is effective not only in ob
taining structural information, but also for observing certain dynamic
effects that are not accessible for ESR in the 3-cm band.
