Abstract
Nonlinear-response effects in stochastic resonance are investigated. A n analytic solution is obtained in the framework of the adiabatic appr oximation. It is found that the input signal strength plays an importa nt role in affecting the stochastic resonance behavior. Our analytic p redictions fit well both numerical calculations and experimental resul ts.
