Abstract
The beamstrahlung spectrum for colliding electron (positron) bunches i s calculated by a quasiclassical method. The derived formulas apply to the classical and the quantum domain of parameters. Scaling laws for the total radiation energy loss and for the photon spectrum are derive d. Our numerical results are in good agreement with those of a previou s, purely quantum-mechanical calculation.
