Vector statistical distribution functions are derived for correlated G
aussian fields. The results may be used to describe the interesting ca
ses of polarization of multiply scattered optical waves from disordere
d media. The dependence of the parameters (the elements of the covaria
nt Hermitian matrix), which characterize the statistics on the inciden
t polarization field, on the incident and scattered wave-vector direct
ion, and on the medium (with slab geometry) are also given.
