Abstract
Selenium was determined in serum and whole blood of patients with muco viscidosis, Crohn's disease, myocardial infarction, hyperthyreosis and of pregnant women at risk. The patients with mucoviscidosis and Crohn 's disease show significantly decreased concentrations of selenium in these two compartments in comparison with normal persons. A substituti on of selenium in these diseases should be considered.
