Abstract
The structural uniformity, and mechanical and magnetic properties Of s ingle-phase fine-grained Fe-4.5% Si cast-alloy strip were investigated . Two technological methods of cooling the strip in air were compare& cooling in the free condition, and during continuous winding on a reel . It was determined that employment of the reeling operation produced a decrease in the inhomogeneity of structure and properties of the cas t strip.
