Abstract
The influence of the composition of the carbohydrate substituent of mo noesters of hexylenesuccinic acid on their adsorption capacity at the solution/gas interface was examined. The thermodynamic parameters of a dsorption were determined. It was established that the deposition area of the surfactant in a saturated monolayer is determined primarily by the accommodation of the succinyl group on the interface. The influen ce of hydration of the hydrophilic substituent on the surface activity of the compounds was demonstrated.
