Abstract
We observed 4 adult patients with corrected transposition of the great arteries (CTGA) who developed complete atrioventricular block; of 4 p atients, 2 received endocardial pacemakers (DDD mode). 1 an epicardial pacemaker (VVI mode), and 1 patient did not have a permanent pacemake r implantation. Endocardial lead fixation in the systemic venous atriu m and ventricle is adequate to provide permanent electrode stability i n patients with CTGA.
