Abstract
A sixteen-channel system for detecting X-rays by a silicon microstrip detector is developed. The energy resolution at 5.9 keV and room tempe rature is 1.7-2.1 keV, and when cooled to -(40-50)-degrees-C ranges fr om 0.95 to 1.1 keV for different channels of the system.
