Abstract
The Sanchez-Lacombe equation of state is used to predict the solubilit y of small penetrants in polymer matrices over a wide range of ambient pressures. The results are found to be highly dependent on equation o f state parameter values for the solute and on the mixing parameter fo r polymer-penetrant interactions.
