Abstract
In order to investigate the relation between the decreasing of Young's modulus at low temperatures and the magnetic transition for SUS 304 s tainless steel, we measured the Neel temperature of SUS 304 foil with a thickness of 10 mum by a thermal scan method. It was 60+/-2 K. As a result, it was found that for SUS 304 foil, the temperature where Youn g's modulus decreased, coincided with the magnetic transition temperat ure, i.e., Neel temperature.
