Abstract
The bulk and surface layers of plate and granular powders of Fe-Si-Al alloy were analysed by transmission Mossbauer spectrometry and convers ion electron Mossbauer spectrometry (CEMS). The internal magnetic hype rfine fields decreased slightly with the decrease of the particle size . Also at the surface layers it decreased more than in the bulk. The m agnetic field distribution varied between plate and granular particles . The difference between the surface and the bulk of pulverized alloy was demonstrated.
