The Eu-151-Mossbauer effect in various high-T(c) superconductors is st
udied in order to investigate the electronic state and the lattice vib
ration of lanthanide. Trivalent europium is not magnetically ordered i
n all the high-T(c) superconductors studied. Relation between the isom
er shift and the lattice parameter is obtained in the T'-phase (EuCe)2
CuO4-delta, from which it is concluded that the Eu-O distance increase
s by the doping of Ce4+ with a smaller ionic radii than Eu3+. Correlat
ion between the Debye temperature and the superconducting transition t
emperature is also discussed.
