Translational energy spectra with vibrationally resolved states of NO(1SIGMA+, v) formed in charge transfer collisions of He2+ (E(He2+) = 7

. The observed population of the vibrational levels of NO+ is close to
that given by Franck-Condon factors derived from photoelectron spectr
oscopy.
