Abstract
The reaction of 5-amino-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide (1) with acyclic and cyclic ketones furnishes the alkyl and aryl substituted pyrazolo[1,5- a]pyrimidines either in polyphosphoric acid (PPA) or under thermal con dition.
