Abstract
Spontaneous symmetry breaking can be induced in a massless lambdaphi4 theory at the quantum level. In this picture the Higgs particle turns out to be naturally heavy (approximately 2.2 TeV) and it only interact s through the gauge and Yukawa couplings so that its decay width is es sentially due to the ttBAR channel.
