Abstract
Hardware and software for a pulse height analyzer interfaced through ' 'simple'' parallel ports are described. Voltages may be analyzed up to 400 K times per second. Resolution is 1000 or 4000 channels. Each cha nnel may store up to 2(24) counts. Software zeroes the memory, initiat es and times data acquisition, and uploads data.
