Abstract
The diffusion of Pentane and Methylcyclohexane (MCH) molecules into no naqueous dispersion (NAD) of, poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) sterical ly stabilized by polyisobutylene (PIB) were studied by UV absorption m ethod. Uptake curves were generated by measuring absorbance of 9-anthr yl methyl pivale (AMP)which was penetrated into NAD particles together with above solvents. It was found that Pentane molecules diffused muc h faster than MCH molecules into PIB-PMMA interphase.
