Abstract
The sporadic observation of pneumocytosis in patients suffering from s ystemic diseases led us to investigate the role of treatment-induced l ymphopenia, affecting in particular CD4 cells. We report the results o f a retrospective study on 16 patients in whom infectious complication s were sought and correlated with the number of lymphocytes.
