Abstract
Nonlinear wave-wave interaction between signals from a ground-based VL F transmitter and narrow-band ELF emissions in the subauroral ionosphe re is studied by means of the bispectrum and bicoherence analysis. A b icoherence analysis has indicated that the sideband structures around the Siple transmitter signal received onbord the ISIS satellite are du e to the nonlinear interaction between the Siple VLF signal and the pr e-existing ELF emission.
