Abstract
Allyl sulfones can be conjugated to furnish vinyl sulfones via allyl s ilane intermediates. The stereoselectivity observed in the protodesily lation step provides a new method for stereoselective preparation of ( E)-di- and trisubstituted vinyl sulfones.
