Abstract
We report three cases of infants born with extensive linear and retifo rm pigmentation on the trunk and extremities. In none of these cases w as there an associated underlying medical disorder, and in all cases t he pigmentation resolved by 6 months of age. It appears that the treat ment of choice for this transient disorder is reassurance.
