Abstract
Picosecond laser-induced quantum beats have been observed in the fluor escence emission from the 10V and 15V systems of jet-cooled CS2. Analy sis of these quantum interference effects provides information on coup ling between the B-1(2) V System and the A-3(2) R system. Complementar y, rotationally resolved spectra of the 10V and 15V systems, which cor roborate the information extracted from the time-resolved study have b een obtained.
