Abstract
Secondary infection of arterial aneurysms being a constantly possible complication, the bacteriological examination of peroperative specimen s appears to be appropriate. Among responsible organisms, the presence of Listeria monocytogenes is very rare since only 13 cases have been reported in the literature. It is for this reason that it was felt to be of interest to report a new, entirely similar case of femoral aneur ysm.
