Infrapopliteal angioplasty was performed using percutaneous antegrade
catheterization via the Popliteal artery; this was done in a sixty-fiv
e-year-old patient suffering from lower limb ischemia, with an occlude
d superficial femoral artery. The purpose of the procedure was to impr
ove the distal runoff, prior to femoropopliteal bypass surgery. The te
chnique is fully described.
