Abstract
A plating bath was developed to deposit adherent, pore-free, low-stres s, amorphous Ni-Cr-P alloys. Alloys containing more than 10 atomic per cent Cr demonstrated outstanding corrosion resistance in both pitting and non-pitting electrolytes when compared to crystalline Ni, amorphou s Ni-P, 304 stainless steel, and Hastelloy C-276.
