As. Ivanova et al., PREPARATION AND ACTIVITY OF NI-Y-ZR-O CATALYSTS FOR THE STEAM REFORMING CONVERSION OF METHANE, Kinetics and catalysis, 38(1), 1997, pp. 98-102
Physicochemical and catalytic properties of Ni-Y-Zr-O compositions dep
endent on the conditions and the method of catalysts were studied. The
optimum composition of a yttrium-zirconium support at which the solid
solution (Zr1-xYx)O2-x/2 with a cubic structure is formed, was found.
After thermal treatment at 700 degrees C, this support is highly disp
ersed. It was shown that, regardless of the method of supporting a nic
kel-containing component, the catalysts obtained are highly active in
the reaction of methane steam reforming. The catalysts prepared by imp
regnation and coprecipitation exhibit the highest mechanical strength.
