Abstract
In this paper we show that the growth mode of Pt on Co(10.0) at 300-de grees-C is a layer by layer one but with interdiffusion. For room temp erature deposited Pt interlayers the quality of the Co overlayers is r ather poor. The best crystallographic structure was obtained for Pt in terlayers deposited at 300-degrees-C.
