Abstract
The successful fabrication using holographic lithography of a submicro n grating reducing the demagnetizing field of a perpendicular ferromag netic thin film is reported. An increase in the extraordinary Hall eff ect by a factor 3 is measured. The presence of holes in the film lower s the coercive field and causes a stepwise switching.
