Abstract
The relation between the giant magnetoresistance effect and the struct ure was studied for FeNiCo/Cu multilayers prepared by rf sputtering. T he structure of multilayers was characterized by high- and low-angle X -ray diffraction. It was found that both the giant magnetoresistance a nd the antiferromagnetic coupling were strongly dependent on the textu re of the multilayers.
